of all the productions i have seen since i moved downtown, this was the most elabrate and crazy. the scale of which it was done was higher then my buliding. its so easy to get sweep away with it all. the lights, all the people, wires everywhere, the engery is electric....its fucking hollywood.

just doing what we do best, working on the computer....on a saturday. its too nice to be outside today. maybe a sushi break sometime later.

Lucha Va Voom

monday morning

not the typical monday moring. filippo took the car in to figure out why she is living up to her name, i am not sure when this week we will get it back. so my bike and i headed out to union station to catch the Metro Link to downtown burbank. by the time i got to the office i was hot and sweaty. plus i forgot to pack a towel this morning and chances are good i forgot a extra pair of socks too. all in all the trip is not bad, i could get used to it. thankfully its just for a few days. i have no work this morning, so i am just surfing the net and reading about all the winter olympic shit. it was great to watch the men's snowboarding last nite. the women also dominated gold and silver. all though i will watch more this week, that was my main intrest. i should really enjoy this slow monday cuz its going to change rapidly, i am heading into back to back dvd games this month. that will keep me working late and long hours.....just now i wish it would start already.....just sitting here is boring as fuck. well i manage to keep busy till lunch, time to go out into woods burbank and harvest some grub.

3rd & Main

this mural can be seen from my window, i have been watching it show up bit by bit, i think its done now. one can never tell. i am up to all hours trying to catch them when they paint this, but i never seem to hit the right spot. i finally walked down there to snap this pic. i will grab one in day light next weekend. next weekend will be my first weekend to my self in 3 weeks. i finished my AE classes this weekend, and i look forward to sleeping in all next weekend. its just a shame i need to wait 5 days to get some fuckin sleep.

ColdCase

last week some time, i think a saturday, hollywood was filming tv in my alley. this is a shot from my windows. we could hear them in the alley all nite. Rolling...Action....over and over. a huge light was placed in the parking lot on the other side of my loft to light the alley on the far side. so even though it was late at night, it was day time in the loft. i dont have many lamps and i have had complaints from guests that the loft is too dark. and so now i know what it would be like to have lots of light in the place at night, and i like it better dark.
